Chart Topping TV....on the Internet

Brought to my attention by a colleague, The WorldTV Internet TV Charts gives viewers a list of the top videos over the past week on Google, YouTube, Digg, and Videosift. The ratings, done through a mixture of art and science, are updated every Sunday. The owner of the site uses viewing ratings, but then removes clips whose viewership seems to be manipulated, or those that are highly viewed but not highly rated. This is done transparently, and seems to me to be a good balance between numbers and editorial choice.

It would be nice to see this update more than once a week, although the aggregated viewing numbers may ultimately mean less in that case. Still, it would be nice to see a daily feature added that shows videos that are currently "popping" on a given day. Viral happens so quickly on the Internet - it can be hard to keep up. popurls is another nice way to aggregate all of the services that are tracking web buzz.
